Mountain Valley Preserve
This is the place to find that big trophy class whitetail or mule deer you’ve always dreamed of. Mountain Valley Preserve is a family-owned and operated hunting ranch, with a goal to give you, our client, nothing but the best. Our heard management and genetic development programs have allowed us to produce and offer some of the biggest and best Whitetail hunting in North America.
We understand that today’s hunters want results. Why spend untold thousands of dollars traveling around the country only to have a second- rate hunt with a small buck or worse yet no buck at all. The Hunt
We hunt FREE RANGING DEER in our farm enclosure. All hunts are for 3 full days, although longer hunts can be arranged. There are no other hunters on the property during your hunt. We can also accommodate group/family hunts at your request.
Hunters can choose the class of whitetail they wish to harvest upon arrival. Buck prices are broken into categories by the Safari Club International scoring method. Hunting rates are based on a three day stay with lodging and food included. Call for more detailed information on rates and availability.
All skill levels of hunters are welcome and our guides work to accommodate your needs on your whitetail hunting experience.
After taking your Trophy Whitetail on our preserve we offer skinning and quartering of your deer. We also offer caping and mounting services of your trophy buck at additional cost. Call or ask your guide for details.
The Deer
WE HAVE BEEN RAISING SUPERIOR WHITETAIL GENETICS SINCE 1999
Our superior whitetail deer are fed highly nutritional feed along with various forages that continue all year. We keep the soil in the food plots at a perfect ph level and the deer are fed top-end minerals year round.
The Preserve
Our property is PRIME WHITETAIL HABITAT, which consist of woods, ponds, deep hollows, food plots. This makes for both a challenging and exciting hunt. We offer a variety of hunting spots from elevated blinds, ground blinds, and two man ladder stands. Many blinds can be heated in the winter months and are accessible by ATV’s to accommodate hunters with limited mobility. We are set up for all forms of hunting and can handle hunters of all ages.
Come and enjoy our nearly 200 ACRE HUNTING PRESERVE surrounded by 1200 acres of state game lands located in the beautiful Happy Valley area in Central Pennsylvania. We offer guided and unguided hunts to accommodate your group. Tree stands and Ground blinds are available although you are welcome to bring your own climber.

Hunters can use a variety of hunting equipment such as bows and arrows, rifles, muzzleloaders, crossbows and pistols. Bring any equipment that makes you comfortable.
When you are not out enjoying your hunt, we provide a first-class lodging experience. You will enjoy excellent home-style cooking and old-fashioned hospitality as a guest of our lodge.
You can play games of pool, foosball, or cornhole, or enjoy beverages and snacks from our well-stocked refrigerator while experiencing the warmth of gathering around the fireplace.
